Tow-Tekta Double Socket Bumper Protector Black

  • Tow-Tekta  bumper protector with two socket mounting positions for N’ and S’ electrics. Protects bumpers from damage when coupled with a trailer or caravan
  • Ideal for 7 Pin 12N&S Type
  • Protection for modern plastic bumpers
  • Overall height 180mm
  • Overall width 248mm
  • 90mm mounting space.

Fitting Instructions for Tow-Tekta Double Socket Bumper Protector:

1. Remove towball and electric sockets from the towbar

2. Fit the Tow-Tekta between the towball and towbar.

  • If using the existing bolts, the ends of the bolts should protrude through the nuts when tightened.
  • If longer bolts are required they must be BS3692 M16 high tensile towball bolts grade 8.8.
  • New shakeproof washers or nylon locking nuts grade 8 should be used on all occasions.
  • Bolts should be tightened to 240Nm.

3. The electrical sockets can be refitted without the need to rewire, using slots provided in the socket mountings
